Job summary

Citi in Paris is seeking Intern Analysts to join the Corporate Banking team for a six-month program starting January 2027. You will gain hands-on experience in credit analysis, risk assessment, and client discussions as you support banking teams across Citi’s networks.

During the internship, you’ll prepare materials for risk and approval committees, track credit exposure, and help develop client relationships across Citi’s product areas.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university that can provide an internship agreement.
• Student status and visa covering the whole internship period.
• Very good knowledge of Corporate Finance and Financial Markets.
• Fluent in English and French (written and spoken).
• Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Credit Analysis: Financial and operational analysis of client performance.
• Preparation of materials for Risk and Business approval committees: memos for reviews and transactions.
• Bank’s credit exposure and capital management: monitor exposure and profitability; concise analysis.
• Assistance in client relationship development and business origination: research and present opportunities.
• Development of banking relationships across Citi geographical network.
• Support Bankers on ad hoc pitches (acquisition financing, capital market transactions).
