Join Our Team as a Marketing Specialist (Romania Market)

We’re seeking a creative, driven, and culturally attuned Marketing Specialist to grow Heymondo’s presence in Romania. You will shape our digital voice, execute marketing strategies, and connect with Romanian travelers, supporting our mission to make travel easier for everyone, everywhere.

This hands-on role suits someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and can switch between strategic planning and day-to-day execution. You will work closely with our Brand & Communication Manager to localize campaigns, manage content, and coordinate initiatives across social media, influencer activations, blogs, and events.

Responsibilities

1. Coordinate, support, and optimize cross-channel marketing and communication plans for Romania.
2. Develop and execute local social media strategies.
3. Organize external events in Romania.
4. Negotiate with brand ambassadors and influencers, collaborating with the Affiliate Manager.
5. Create and edit content for websites, campaigns, blogs, PR, and newsletters.
6. Manage blog content on WordPress in collaboration with the SEO team.
7. Analyze market trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities.
8. Oversee the marketing and communication budget for Romania.
9. Plan and run email marketing campaigns.
10. Coordinate brand awareness efforts with marketing and other teams.
11. Ensure consistent brand identity across all communications.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Bilingual in Romanian and Spanish.
• Excellent Romanian writing skills.
• Creative, motivated, and proactive.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator.
• Passionate about travel.

Schedule & Location

Full-time, flexible hours (7.5 hours/day), 100% remote. Option to work from our Barcelona office near Torre Agbar.
