A leading company in tax-free shopping solutions seeks a Marketing Sales Specialist in Paris. This role focuses on generating revenue through effective marketing campaigns and supporting sales teams with client engagement strategies. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in B2B sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
As a Marketing Sales Specialist you will be responsible for generating revenue by selling marketing campaigns and value-added services to Global Blue clients, with a strong focus on traffic acquisition and brand visibility.
You will work in close coordination with the France Commercial Team , acting as a marketing expert supporting sales representatives primarily focused on tax-free services . Your role is to develop the sales of complementary marketing solutions that enhance our clients’ performance and customer engagement.
Support for campaign implementation and follow-up will be provided by a member of the Marketing, Communication & CVC team, who also manages broader communication responsibilities
Summary
The role aims to support Global Blue’s commercial growth by developing the sales of complementary marketing solutions (digital campaigns, lounge activations, data services, etc.) to existing tax-free clients. Acting as a marketing expert within the France Commercial Team, the position bridges client needs with operational execution—supported by the Marketing, Communication & CVC team—to drive brand visibility, customer engagement, and sales uplift.
Main Responsibilities
Generate turnover by selling marketing campaigns and services to Global Blue clients.
Act as the go-to expert within the France Commercial Team for all marketing-related solutions.
Support tax-free sales representatives in identifying cross-selling opportunities for marketing services.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail and brand partners.
Participate in the design and implementation of operational marketing campaigns to drive or brand visibility traffic to brand outlets.
Promote and sell various digital marketing solutions including GB Newsletters (EDM), Alipay campaigns, Visa campaigns, etc.
Coordinate campaign implementation with support from a d member of the Marketing, Communication & CVC team to ensure flawless execution and client satisfaction.
Ensure timely and high-quality execution of campaigns in collaboration with internal teams.
Coordinate and follow up on marketing sales activities within the Global Blue Lounge in Paris (campaigns, sale windows)
Liaise with the Lounge team and clients to ensure optimal visibility and brand experience.
Value-Added Services
Sell and promote added-value services such as :
Business Intelligence reports and insights
Cultural training and market-specific consulting
Any additional services that can support client performance and ROI
Internal Collaboration
Work hand in hand with the France Commercial Team to align marketing offers with tax-free strategies.
Collaborate closely within the Marketing, Communication & CVC team throughout the campaign lifecycle.
Participate in internal trainings and updates to ensure alignment across departments.
Global Collaboration : Ability to work effectively with international stakeholders and contribute to global product development through structured feedback and local insights
Reporting & Follow-up
Track campaign performance and provide post-campaign reporting to clients.
Ensure proper CRM documentation and sales pipeline management.
Profile :
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in B2B sales, ideally in media, retail, or marketing services.
Proven track record in selling marketing or advertising solutions.
Strong commercial acumen and client-oriented mindset.
Ability to understand clients’ marketing needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
Fluent in English and French
Experience in working with international clients or luxury retail is a strong asset.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneous
Experience with CRM tools is required (salesforce is a plus)
