Dyson seeks a Retail and Marketing Trainee for a 6-month internship in France, starting in July. The role entails supporting marketing strategy activation, collaborating across departments to enhance brand visibility, and managing marketing performance metrics. Ideal candidates will be students specializing in marketing with strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.

The Dyson EMEA region spans 14 head offices across cities like Amsterdam, Paris, Cologne, Dubai, and Istanbul, organised into four clusters: Northern Europe, Southern Europe, GB&I, and Emerging Markets. We are looking for interns to join our Retail and Marketing teams in France for six months (starting in July), to help activate Dyson’s marketing strategy within the market.
As our Retail and Marketing Trainee, you will support Product Marketing, Retail Activation, and Retail Operations. Responsibilities may include:
• Support marketing plans and go-to-market (GTM) initiatives to drive sales, increase market share, and strengthen brand image.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (CRM, Media, Digital, Retail, PR, etc.) to ensure execution of 360° launch plans.
• Adapt international marketing content to the local market and manage creative briefs, ensuring guideline compliance.
• Coordinate with external agencies on content development, media, merchandising, and activations.
• Monitor the Dyson customer experience across all touchpoints for brand consistency.
• Define and track KPIs to measure marketing performance and ROI.
• Analyse market trends and competitive activity.
• Execute point-of-sale campaigns, innovation launches (NPD), and in-store activations.
• Ensure compliance with selective distribution standards.
• Oversee deployment of POS materials and manage store facilities.
• Organise events to boost brand visibility and engagement.
• Track and report on activation KPIs.
• Serve as the operational link between store teams and head office.
• Manage supplier relationships and oversee invoicing.
• Support logistics, stock management, and inventory analysis.
• Uphold compliance with group retail procedures.
• Proficient in French and English (C1); Spanish or Italian (>B1) preferred.
• Student (BAC+3 to BAC+5) specialising in marketing, ideally with 6 months of experience, preferably in beauty or luxury.
• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines, with keen attention to detail.
• Autonomous, assertive, and results-oriented with a strong interest in Dyson.
• Solid grasp of marketing fundamentals and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint (Adobe suite, CRM, Google Analytics, social networks, CMS a plus).
• Analytical mindset, comfortable with data and various software.
• Positive, adaptable, collaborative, and resilient under stress.
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to connect with local and international teams.
• Team player with humility and the ability to influence internally.
