SOLIDWORKS is seeking an experienced, high-energy Marketing Manager to join the SOLIDWORKS Strategy, Business Development and Community team. You will be responsible for defining and executing the marketing strategy for 3D EXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS for Makers - that targets Makers and Hobbyists who need digital design technology to make their ideas a reality. The product is sold solely online.

This highly-visible position will require you to define a marketing strategy that drives awareness and sales of 3D EXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS for Makers and play a big role in the execution of the marketing plan at a global level. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of marketing experience in a professional setting and will be responsible for:

  1. Delivering consistent, comprehensive analytics related to marketing activities, results, and beyond – including:
  2. Measuring and reporting results of all marketing activities and using the data to optimize campaign performance/results - including:
  • Results for search engine optimization initiatives for core web pages and additional pages created to drive awareness and sales
  • Email performance (for nurturing existing users and finding new ones): email open and click rates
  • Pay-per-click campaigns: number of clicks, cost per click, average cost per conversion/sale
  • Results of influencer initiatives – tracking: number of views, likes, cost per click/sale
  • Results of A/B testing on web pages, email content, etc.
  • Results of special offers: traffic to web pages, clicks/conversion rate, revenue generated
  • Traffic and engagement levels within the product’s dedicated online community
  • Weekly tracking of projected vs actual numbers for: new orders, net new orders, active users, web page visits and conversion rate
  • Developing statistical models using internal software to analyze data and create visualizations used to make business decisions
  • Interpreting/analyzing data results and communicating to clients to help answer specific questions and solve problems
  • Defining which data is needed to answer specific questions, address problems, and make solid decisions - including surveys to collect data
  • Google and social ad pay-per-click campaigns
  • Organic social plan/content and blogs from users, influencers, etc.
  • Influencers’ strategy to push the reach of our message beyond traditional marketing campaigns
  • Marketing partnerships and sponsorships with various organizations and events.
  • Affiliates program with Value Added Resellers and other relevant affiliates
  • Web strategy/content, including SEO and localization
  • Connecting with colleagues on enhancements related to users’ ecommerce experience
  • Plan to enhance users’ post-sales experience - email nurturing campaigns, getting started web page
  • Inclusion/promotion of the offer at 3DEXPERIENCE World.
  • Engaging with local SOLIDWORKS marketing teams worldwide to gain support to promote the offer locally
  • Qualifications:

    1. 5-7 years Marketing experience and success preferably for SaaS/products sold online
    2. Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    3. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively individually and as a team player with colleagues from many different departments and levels within the organization. You must be able to influence without authority
    4. Excellent project management skills - the ability to juggle multiple projects at a time and meet various deadlines and deliverables
    5. Skilled at execution - someone that goes beyond strategic thinking and can execute quickly on marketing initiatives
    6. Ability to analyze data related to results of marketing initiatives, make decisions to optimize results and deliver presentations on results/recommendations
    7. Driven, tenacious, can-do personality that is motivated by surpassing aggressive goals
