SOLIDWORKS is seeking an experienced, high-energy Marketing Manager to join the SOLIDWORKS Strategy, Business Development and Community team. You will be responsible for defining and executing the marketing strategy for 3D EXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS for Makers - that targets Makers and Hobbyists who need digital design technology to make their ideas a reality. The product is sold solely online.
This highly-visible position will require you to define a marketing strategy that drives awareness and sales of 3D EXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS for Makers and play a big role in the execution of the marketing plan at a global level. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of marketing experience in a professional setting and will be responsible for:
- Delivering consistent, comprehensive analytics related to marketing activities, results, and beyond – including:
- Measuring and reporting results of all marketing activities and using the data to optimize campaign performance/results - including:
- Results for search engine optimization initiatives for core web pages and additional pages created to drive awareness and sales
- Email performance (for nurturing existing users and finding new ones): email open and click rates
- Pay-per-click campaigns: number of clicks, cost per click, average cost per conversion/sale
- Results of influencer initiatives – tracking: number of views, likes, cost per click/sale
- Results of A/B testing on web pages, email content, etc.
- Results of special offers: traffic to web pages, clicks/conversion rate, revenue generated
- Traffic and engagement levels within the product’s dedicated online community
- Weekly tracking of projected vs actual numbers for: new orders, net new orders, active users, web page visits and conversion rate

- 5-7 years Marketing experience and success preferably for SaaS/products sold online
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively individually and as a team player with colleagues from many different departments and levels within the organization. You must be able to influence without authority
- Excellent project management skills - the ability to juggle multiple projects at a time and meet various deadlines and deliverables
- Skilled at execution - someone that goes beyond strategic thinking and can execute quickly on marketing initiatives
- Ability to analyze data related to results of marketing initiatives, make decisions to optimize results and deliver presentations on results/recommendations
