As Marketing Director for Africa, Middle East & India, you will be responsible for the marketing strategies within the cluster.
You will develop and implement both long-term and short-term brand strategies and tactics in accordance with Rémy Cointreau Brand guidelines and management principles. Additionally, you will contribute to the annual brand plans to meet budget targets (Volume, CNS, GM, NC, COP) and increase market share.
Responsibilities
Brand Vision and Strategic Planning
Develop and implement annual and 5-year plans for the RC portfolio, creating a brand vision across key markets to drive growth and achieve strategic objectives. Monitor the strategic planning process and execute these plans with the appointed team. Manage all marketing-related client relationships and communications with partners in the zone.
Visit markets, evaluate customer research, market conditions, competitor data, and adjust marketing plans as needed. Understand trends for new product launches and potential brand risks.
Lead & develop Marketing team
Manage, coach, and evaluate the marketing team according to HR guidelines, fostering personal growth, learning, and competency development. Lead by example, ensuring clear communication and adherence to company rules, guidelines, and principles.
Prioritize and mobilize the team around key business opportunities. Promote cross-functional collaboration across markets, brand teams, and functional teams.
Operational Planning
Translate brand plans into ATL and BTL activities aligned with guidelines and with input from brand teams. Ensure deadlines and quality criteria are met in relationships with partners/vendors and within business processes.
Establish strong collaboration with the Commercial Team to align brand, market, and business strategies, aiming for maximum growth. Develop and embed a robust A&P M&E process within teams and distributors/partners where relevant.
Effective internal and external communication
Analyze and share results, successes, and failures versus targets internally and externally with stakeholders. Conduct market visits within the zone to understand brand priorities, representing RC brands responsibly and in compliance with social responsibility, laws, and industry codes.
