C12 develops reliable & application-specific quantum computers to solve complex computing tasks currently out of reach of even the most powerful supercomputers. Building a quantum computer still needs innovators who are ready to tackle exciting challenges. At C12 we are convinced that a new material for the qubit will bring a technological breakthrough. At C12 the fundamental building block of the quantum processora qubitis constructed using ultra-pure carbon nanotubes suspended above a silicon chip with control electrodes and superconducting resonators . This high-purity material minimises errors enhances performance and reduces hardware overhead for fault-tolerant computing. Spin qubits coupled to a microwave resonator offer exciting possibilities for control manipulation and circuit architecture. The suspended isotopically pure 12C nanotube significantly improves stability by reducing sources of decoherence such as charge noise nuclear spin noise and phonon relaxation. Leveraging well-established semiconductor techniques carbon nanotubes hold great promise for scaling quantum computing much like silicon in classical computing.

Founded in 2020 C12 is a fast-growing start-up who recently raised EUR 18 million in 2024 to further its research in its own lab in the heart of Paris (Panthon).

Your role at C12 Quantum Electronics

• We are looking for a Marketing & Communications Intern or Apprentice to help strengthen C12s visibility and brand in the quantum computing ecosystem. This role is ideal for someone passionate about tech marketing eager to develop hands-on experience in content creation digital marketing and event coordination.

Your main responsibilities include :

• Assisting to shaping strategic marketing initiatives to position C12 as a top name in quantum computing
• Taking ownership of our social media presence (LinkedIn) by writing engaging posts designing visuals (Canva Photoshop) and potentially editing short videos
• Helping to produce various marketing materials such as blog articles case studies presentations merchandise and flyers
• Supporting the organisation of scientific conferences and industry events where C12 participates
• Researching potential collaborations and partnerships with industry influencers media and scientific communities to enhance C12s visibility
• Tracking and analysing marketing performance metrics and provide insights for improvement
• Proposing creative ideas to improve content campaigns and overall marketing strategy to maximise engagement and impact.

About you :

• You are currently pursuing a Bac 3 / Bac 4 / Bac 5 in Communication Marketing or a related field
• You have strong writing skills in English (French is a plus)
• You are familiar with social media (especially LinkedIn) and design tools like Canva or Photoshop (video editing is a bonus)
• You have strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• You are proactive creative curious and enjoy introducing fresh ideas.
