Company Overview : Waypoint AI helps support and engineering teams manage escalations faster and more effectively. By automating triage, investigation, and resolution, we eliminate false positives, speed up resolution times, and prevent repeat issues—without changing existing workflows. Our customers are software companies with large engineering teams who care deeply about product reliability and developer productivity. We’ve got runway for the next few years and we’re investing in transitioning from founder-led sales to building a proper go-to-market engine that is ready to scale.

Job Overview : As our first go-to-market hire, you'll be accountable for creating 1-2 reliable channels for sales-qualified lead generation, as defined as decision-makers within our target market who have demonstrated explicit interest in discovering how Waypoint AI solve their current problems. You'll inherit our existing founder-led sales automation setup (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Phantombuster, Hubspot, etc.) and explore new tools (Clay, MadKudu, Hightouch, etc.) and channels like paid LinkedIn campaigns, webinars, referral programs to build a scalable go-to-market engine. You'll collaborate closely with the co-founders and our founding designer, measuring progress in days while building for where we want to be in the coming quarters. You’ll have regular access to prospect and customer calls, our investor & founder network, and a budget for tools & campaigns to support your experiments.

Responsibilities :

  • Drive SQL generation through inbound or outbound campaigns.
  • Design, test & iterate new channels, experiments, messages & strategies.
  • Implement AI-native automation tools, copilots & agents that will help to scale your impact and and our go-to-market engine.
  • Report weekly on pipeline generation and its evolution.
  • If you have strong convictions around testing and owning messaging (website, campaign assets, etc.), we’ll support you. Otherwise, you’ll lean on the founders who are quite comfortable in this area.

Qualifications :

  • The ideal candidate has been accountable fordemand generation within a software organization in the past.
  • The ideal candidate will also be comfortable with leveraging, choosing, and implementing automation tools; rudimentary / vib e-coding is a plus insofar as it shouldn’t limit your ability to execute your ideas.
  • The ideal candidate is a founder at heart - past- and future-founders welcome - and sees this opportunity as a way to prove themselves in an early stage role as well as see up close how early stage founders go from a handful of customers to $100M in ARR.
  • In whatever format works for you, you’re a proactive communicator - Loom videos, audio messages, long text prose, or spreadsheets / charts.
  • Driven, entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and short-term progress.
