European Payments Initiative is seeking a Market Research Intern for July 2026 to December 2026 in France. You will join our Members Development and Strategy team to help shape the future of Wero, our European digital wallet, by gathering market insights and supporting strategic initiatives.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Product, Engineering and Risk, develop competitor benchmarks, and help create webinars and presentation materials.

Qualifications

• Pursuing final year at university or business school.
• A previous internship in financial services (Fintech or Payments) would be a plus.
• Fluent in English (CEFR C1 or C2) is mandatory; French, German or Dutch or any additional European languages is a plus
• Strong presentation skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experienced with Microsoft 365 in particular Excel and Powerpoint
• Ability to structure ideas but also being innovative

Responsabilités

• Gather relevant market insights to ensure a strong understanding of global trends and competitor moves in payments.
• Monitor evolutions in usage and habits, as well as relevant technological and UX innovations
• Maintain competitive intelligence database up to date (competitors factsheets and benchmarks)
• Support the weekly internal reporting market & competition news
• Support building of webinars and presentation material for internal & external purposes
