European Payments Initiative is launching Wero, a European digital wallet, and seeks a Market Research Intern to shape market strategy from July 2026 to December 2026 in Paris. You will gather market insights and monitor trends across payments, e-ID, wallets, and merchants services.
You will support webinars and internal presentations, collaborate with Marketing, Product, Engineering, Risk, and other teams, and help maintain competitive intelligence materials for decision making.
In today’s digital Europe, payments still feel too complicated. Random delays, confusing rules, extra apps and accounts make it harder than it should be to pay and get paid.
The European Payments Initiative is changing that with Wero, a proudly European digital wallet to make payments easier, clearer and more secure. Online, in store, at home and across borders, with your money and data protected under European laws and regulations.
Wero is live in Belgium, France and Germany and launching very soon in Luxembourg and the Netherlands. Backed by 16 major banks and the two largest European acquirers, we’re building a brand new, proudly European payment system. Why not join us?
Join us as a Market Research Intern from July 2026 to December 2026, and lead the change in shaping the future of our dynamic payment vision. Bring your analytical power, strategic vision, innovative thinking, and proven experience in market strategy to elevate our market presence and make the EPI adventure a reality.
You’ll be part of our Members Development and Strategy department. During this experience, you will work closely with our Market Intelligence and Innovation Lead, who has extensive experience in the payment industry. Furthermore, you will support and collaborate with other departments such as Marketing, Product and Engineering, Risk, etc.
