Description and Requirements

The Market Education BDM has the overall responsibility for driving Lenovo’s total EDU business in France with specific focus on solutions and services. The role includes mapping the total market, define the best GTM strategy (Channel vs Direct sales engagement), Campaign/product planning, big deal planning as well as understanding and having relationship with the ECO system in the country, i.e Microsoft, Google and other players.

Logically, you will also be responsible, as a client manager, for developing, managing, and building loyalty with a new strategic client dedicated to higher education and research in France. in collaboration with our partners and the internal teams France & EMEA dedicated to this account.

We see huge digitalization projects among all countries, and appetite to drive smarter learning and teaching methods, based on new technologies. The Education BDM & client manager will:

  • Map the countries EDU segment opportunity for both Primary Schools and Universities
  • Build the best GTM strategy for the Country
  • Develop, together with SMB/Channel and Large Account teams, Quarterly Campaign planning
  • Help sellers build strategies/pla ns and high-level relationships with the customer as a Trusted Advisor.
  • Leads Lenovo’s Education Transformation value proposition to customers.
  • Facilitates and enables Lenovo seller’s capability with consultative selling for the complete portfolio of Lenovo End User Computing products & Solutions.
  • Provide insight and thought leadership to customers concerning applicability of complex products and services.
  • Drive Line of business conversion across top EDU accounts to ensure gains on share of wallet spending
  • Regularly engaged at customer and business partner facilities and delivers high impact presentations leveraging strong technical skills.
  • Ensure that the end-to-end planning (campaign + tenders) will support the sales targets and will be supported by supply
  • Participate in regular interlocks with demand planning, Supply Chain, Services, EMEA Education leader and EMEA Campaign/Pipel ine leader to have fluid and efficient communication flow, and a process to review successes and opportunities

Organization

The Market Education BDM & client manager will report to the EPS Sales Director.


Position requirements:

  • Previous product or business management experience.
  • Experience in Education segment (either sale, marketing, product management)
  • Good understanding of IT goes to market, channels and competition.
  • Ability to work in a matrix
  • Strong business acumen and financial skills
  • Work in multi-cultural and multi country organization
  • Ability to leverage extended teams.
  • Strong communications skills.
  • Business analytic and project management skills.
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
