We are looking for an experienced Commercial Leader to join Edgewell Personal Care – a global consumer goods business with a portfolio of over 25 brands, including Wilkinson Sword, Schick, Hawaiian Tropic, Carefree, Bulldog Skincare for Men, Jack Black, and recently acquired Cremo Grooming.

Now, Let’s Get Down to Business

This position offers strategic and operational leadership for the French Market.

Leading a cross-functional team to execute our brands in the local market, representing the company with major market customers, suppliers, and external contacts, and actively contributing to strategic direction and transformation.

Reporting to the Regional Vice President for Europe, this role is a key member of the European Leadership Team.

Here’s what you’ll do :

  • Create a vision for the French Market to inspire and guide teams.
  • Define and implement strategic plans and customer strategies to transform business performance and achieve growth aligned with the EU average across Edgewell.
  • Deliver sustainable growth and meet business objectives, focusing on Net Sales, Operating Profit, Overhead Reduction, and Market Share.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients.
  • Collaborate with Hub Finance, HR, and Customer Service, including negotiating and closing major contracts. Directly manage the French market’s Commercial team.
  • Accelerate eCommerce growth while evolving our go-to-market model in bricks-and-mortar retail.
  • Hold hierarchical responsibility for the France Commercial Teams.
  • Participate actively in the European Leadership Team, driving growth strategies across Europe.
  • Lead organizational projects across the market, including system implementation and change management.

We seek candidates with strong French Market experience who can lead and inspire their teams. The ideal candidate will influence, lead change, and have ambition for growth within the organization. Experience in Consumer Goods, Personal Care, or Cosmetics is highly desirable. We value passion for making useful things joyful.

Here’s what we are looking for :

  • Significant experience in competitive environments in Commercial, Marketing, or General Management roles, with a proven ability to meet or exceed targets. Experience managing major accounts (e.g., Carrefour or Leclerc) is preferred.
  • Fluent in French and English, with strong marketing and commercial experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of the French FMCG distribution network.
  • Proven leadership and negotiation skills, with experience closing critical sales contracts.
  • Experience leading commercial teams and managing change.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging at all organizational levels.
  • Influencing, adapting, and organizational skills, with a positive and confident demeanor.
  • Knowledge of digital and eCommerce platforms.
  • A strong sense of ownership, results-oriented, and decisive.
