Job Description

The Sensors Market Development Manager is responsible for driving growth and developing new business opportunities using Avery Dennison RFID solutions. Collaborating with Sales, Product Development, and Innovation teams, you will identify and evaluate opportunities that lead to new or incremental sales.

  1. Identify, assess, develop, and manage new programs and business opportunities for assigned products, leading to successful commercialization.
  2. Partner with stakeholders to develop market-appropriate products, support materials, and pricing strategies across RFID, NFC, and consumer experience solutions.
  3. Work with prospective customers to identify unmet needs and present compelling solutions.
  4. Navigate complex problems to determine the best solutions for customer needs.
  5. Initiate and present ROI business case analyses.
  6. Stay informed on industry trends by attending trade shows and market insights events.
  7. Suggest new ideas, product applications, and solutions to development teams.
  8. Communicate key value propositions and differentiators of Avery Dennison solutions to customers.
  9. Develop customized go-to-market strategies for regions and individual clients.
  10. Develop long-term business opportunities and identify quick-hit project opportunities.
  11. Support marketing with product and program forecasting.
  12. Build and maintain relationships with customer partners.
  13. Collaborate across business units to evaluate volume, trends, and quality.
  14. Establish pricing programs and strategies to position products effectively within target accounts.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Extensive experience in Market Development, Business Development, or sales within the RFID industry.
  • Deep knowledge of the retail apparel industry and general merchandise market.
  • Ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies.
  • 5-10+ years in business development or sales with RFID expertise.
  • Understanding of RFID label manufacturing and solutions.
  • Strong project management, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Financial acumen, including ROI analysis.
  • Proven track record in developing new business opportunities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Business fluency in French is required.
  • Willingness to travel 50%+.
