Qualifications

  • Connaissances en gestion QHSSE et audits ISM/ISO.
  • Expérience antérieure en tant qu'officier dans l'industrie maritime.

Responsibilities
  1. Comply with IMS and all relevant international rules and regulations.
  2. Ensure all duties are in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies.
  3. Propose a continuous performance improvement plan which will be reported and reviewed on a periodical basis.
  4. Assist in QHSSE responsibilities for assigned vessels.
  5. Perform on duty tasks when assigned.
  6. Ensure the implementation of the Integrated Management System and the Ship Security Plan.
  7. Facilitate good communication between ashore departments and the vessels.
  8. Ensure that assigned vessels are properly manned, maintained, equipped and in a seaworthy condition.
  9. Manage and follow-up on ISM, ISPS, MLC, ISO, and flag audits.
  10. Conduct QSSE audit or inquiry onboard assigned and designated vessels.
  11. Monitor corrective and preventive actions.
  12. Conduct accident investigations.
  13. Perform training for shore department and ship staff.
  14. Participate in regulations monitoring.
  15. Be the contact point for flag administrations and support the Fleet department with classification societies (RO).
  16. Participate in the Emergency Response Team when concerned.
  17. Be available to travel worldwide.
Deputy DPA-CSO Duties
  1. Follow the duties of the DPA/CSO during their absence if required.
  2. Monitor and follow up on ISM, ISPS, MLC, ISO, and flag audits & certifications for all vessels.
  3. Remain the contact point with Flag administration or RO in case of casualty.
  4. Organize Company internal audit if required.
Minimum Qualifications
  1. Officer licenses preferred.
  2. Training in ISM and ISO Internal auditor, CSO, and accident investigation.
  3. Fluent in English.
  4. QHSSE management knowledge.
Experience

Previous officer experience or in shipping industry.

  4. Physical ability to perform audits onboard.
  5. No restriction to travel abroad.
