Job Description:

We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services Dohafor for a Marine Foreman. This position offers a unique career opportunity in the oil and gas sector, working on a major project in Qatar with Qatar Energy. The project has been ongoing for over 8 years, with extensive maintenance and operation responsibilities in a large industrial area.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise, plan, and schedule inspection and maintenance of marine mechanical equipment and facilities, including pipelines.
• Ensure compliance with international standards for pumps, compressors, blowers, generators, diesel engines, pipes, fittings, and related drawings (P&ID, piping isometrics).
• Install, maintain, and repair metallic and non-metallic piping, including underground and above-ground systems, coatings, and linings.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and overhaul large pumps, engines, generators, compressors, and blowers.
• Utilize SAP system for job planning, work order management, reporting, and documentation.
• Promote safe work practices and a safety-conscious work environment.

Candidate Profile:

• Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Marine, or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or marine industries.
• Experience in marine and mechanical systems; multi-discipline skills (Electrical and Instrumentation) are a plus.
• Valid Qatar driving license.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
