Amcor Flexibles EMEA, Chalon-sur-Saône site, seeks a Production Manager responsible for managing production and operations excellence. The role leads a 120-person team, with 24/7 operations, and reports to the Plant Leadership Team.

You will define goals, drive continuous improvement, and supervise CI initiatives across the plant while upholding safety, cost control, and productivity targets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment and supervision.
• Experience in packaging is an advantage but not required.
• Experience managing significant change/transformation projects in manufacturing.
• Lean and continuous improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Kaizen).
• Degree in science, technology or engineering preferred; advanced degree advantageous.
• Knowledge of production machines, process control equipment, energy management, and EHS systems.

Responsabilités

• Support the organisation for safety performance of the plant.
• Deliver budget in terms of production volumes, cost-to-produce and cost-out.
• Define and assign goals and improvement projects to line managers.
• Define and manage organisational processes and improvements.
• Promote Amcor Culture (Values and Behaviour) within the plant.
• Maintain high motivation and engagement within the organisation.
• Heighten team performance, knowledge and leadership.
• Lead CI improvement projects and report KPIs.
• Support Plant Leadership Team in management and industrial relations.
