The Manganese Alloys (Mn) business unit of Eramet operates 5 pyrometallurgical plants in Europe and the United States, transforming ore into alloys.

Our plants produce thousands of tonnes of manganese alloy annually, with ambitions to increase production.

In Norway, production is spread across three plants at Sauda, Porsgrunn, and Kvinesdal, manufacturing alloys for steel with a combined capacity of thousands of tonnes.

In the United States, in Marietta, Eramet is North America's leading producer of manganese alloys, with a capacity of thousands of tonnes.

In France, the Dunkerque plant employs 70 staff and produces silicomanganese, contributing to steel strength with a capacity of 70 kt.

Join Our Team as Mn Alloys Safety Director!

We are seeking a dedicated Safety Director to lead safety initiatives across our Mn Alloys business in Norway, France, and the US. The role involves collaborating with Plant Directors and HSE Managers to ensure safety compliance and foster a culture of safety excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Align site safety roadmaps with group objectives.
2. Lead safety projects and initiatives.
3. Develop and support safety training programs.
4. Coordinate policy deployment and audits.
5. Mentor and develop site Safety Managers.

Requirements:

1. Expertise in safety management systems.
2. Experience in industrial safety leadership.
3. Strong communication and networking skills.
4. Proficiency in English; Norwegian/French is a plus.
5. Engineering or Master's degree with relevant experience.
