Job summary

HKA in Paris is seeking a Managing Consultant to lead quantum analysis within our renowned disputes and expert advisory team. You will deliver financial and contractual insights on major construction projects, working with top professionals on high-stakes cases.

You will analyse project costs, variations and entitlements, prepare reports, and support complex arbitrations and litigation. This role offers mentoring, client exposure, and opportunities to shape quantum practice across Europe.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• Around 5+ years in quantity surveying, commercial management or disputes.
• Experience analysing project costs, variations and entitlements.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to present complex information clearly, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and delivery of quantum analysis on major disputes and claims.
• Analyse project documentation, contracts, financial records and cost data to identify key issues.
• Assist with preparation of expert reports, submissions and supporting docs.
• Conduct detailed analyses of costs, damages, variations and entitlement issues.
• Manage discrete workstreams and deliver high-quality outputs to deadlines.
• Work closely with clients, legal teams, experts and stakeholders.
• Support business development and client relationship activities.
• Mentor and develop junior team members where appropriate.
