Job summary

HKA, a leading global consultancy in risk mitigation and dispute resolution, seeks a Managing Consultant or Senior Manager in its Paris FACD team. The role focuses on delivering high-value expert advisory services across international disputes, valuation and forensic accounting.

You will work with Partners and senior experts, handling planning through completion, crafting clear expert reports, and applying rigorous financial analyses. French and English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• A graduate or postgraduate degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Demonstrated experience in finance, accounting, business valuation, including contentious valuations, and dispute-related engagements.
• Strong problem-solving skills, exceptional analytical capability and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly and concisely.
• Collaborative approach and commitment to professional development within a team environment.
• French and English language capability is essential.

Responsibilities

• Managing significant workstreams on complex disputes.
• Supporting the delivery of engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring work is completed to the highest standard.
• Drafting clear, concise and compelling expert reports and supporting experts on high-value disputes.
• Conducting detailed financial, accounting and economic analyses with a high degree of technical rigour.
• Performing business valuations using recognised methodologies and analytical techniques to develop robust and defensible conclusions.
• Reviewing and interpreting large and complex datasets to identify key issues and insights.
• Managing and mentoring junior team members, providing guidance and support on technical work and professional development.
• Working closely with Partners, clients and legal teams to communicate findings and respond to queries.
• Contributing to business development activities, thought leadership initiatives and industry events as opportunities arise.

The Opportunity

As a Managing Consultant or Senior Manager Consultant in our FACD team, you'll be part of a high-performing global practice known for delivering market-leading expert advisory services.

This is an exciting stage of growth for our Paris team, offering the opportunity to work alongside Partners and senior experts recognised internationally for their expertise in contentious valuations and forensic accounting.

You will play a key role in the success and continued expansion of our International FACD practice by:

• Managing significant workstreams on complex disputes
