What You Will Do:

We are looking for a Managing Consultant (Project Manager) to join our International Energy Providers market team in France. Your focus will be on strategy and transformation projects supporting global energy companies like ENGIE, TotalEnergies, Veolia, and EDF as they transition to sustainable energy sources.

You will work on topics such as energy strategy, business model development, power and gas markets, business transformation, and low-carbon solutions including hydrogen, biofuels, renewable power, distributed energy resources, digital solutions, and energy services.

Your responsibilities include collaborating with regional and international leadership to grow the energy practice in France, engaging with potential clients, defining value propositions, developing sales opportunities, building solutions, managing multiple consulting engagements, ensuring profitability, and mentoring junior staff.

Our team members manage their tasks independently while delivering high-quality client work, demonstrating business acumen and a focus on client value and relationships.

What You Will Need:

• 6+ years of professional experience in strategy consulting or corporate strategy, or 4+ years with an MBA.
• Experience in delivering strategy consulting or business solutions.
• Business case or proposal writing experience, including budgeting and managing timelines.
• Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills.
• Critical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving creativity.
• Ability to work effectively in diverse teams and collaborate at all levels.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
• Fluent in French (native or bilingual) and English.
• Master’s degree from a top school or equivalent experience in energy economics, business management, engineering, or science.

• Knowledge in power/gas systems, decarbonization, industry topics like hydrogen, renewable energy, and utility regulation.
