Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) seeks a seasoned professional to drive strategy across the Caribbean and grow our consulting services pipeline. You will develop frameworks, produce insights, and manage complex projects with analytics, collaborating across functions to deliver impact.

You will lead multi-team efforts, communicate clearly with senior stakeholders, and help clients improve performance through data-driven recommendations in a payments context.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 2+ years with an Advanced degree.
• Experience in payments industry or consulting services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all organizational levels.
• Ability to manage and coordinate complex projects across multiple teams.
• Fluent English and Spanish.

Team Description

Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful results for clients. Drawing on our expertise in consulting, data analytics, technology, payments and economics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients. VCA's core client segments include issuers, acquirers, merchants, fintechs, payment enablers and governments.

Responsibilities

• Drive and execute VCA strategy across the Caribbean countries, proactively capitalizing on regional opportunities
• Create and develop a business pipeline for our Visa Consulting services for key players in the Caribbean.
• Develop frameworks, approaches, solutions and recommendations that effectively and efficiently address the most impactful opportunities and challenges.
• Produce insights and analyses to improve client performance, drive understanding of client issues and provide strategic guidance for client priorities across the payment P&L
• Project management of bespoke complex projects, working together with client facing and analytics
• Making the presentations for the projects, including storytelling and data analysis with insights and recommendations.
• Ensure the timeline and execution of the consulting projects
• Partner with peers in VCA (e.j. Implementation Services, Data Science, Practices) and other functional areas (e.g., marketing, sales, risk, innovation) and across global regional teams to execute projects in ways that leverage the breadth and depth of Visa’s resources
• Drive VCA public face and thought leadership with papers, conferences and seminars.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
• 5 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 2 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of relevant experience with a PhD
• Ideally in quantitative field (e.g. engineering, economics, computer science, business administration, finance…).
• Experience working in the payments industry or consulting services
• Problem solving ability with strategic focus on influencing incremental growth. Understanding of card and payment P&L and critical factors driving profitability.
• Experience in managing and executing complex projects that requires coordination of other functional teams.
• Excellent communications skills, written and verbal and ability to communicate at all levels within large organizations.
• Ability to work independently.
• Knowledge and understanding of banking operations, including products & services, business systems and processes.
• Passionate, self-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently.
• Understand how to leverage GenAI tools to enhance productivity.
• Fluent English and Spanish
