Education: Bachelor's degree. Facilities planning and management. Parks, recreation and leisure studies. or equivalent experience. Work setting: University or college. Budgetary responsibility: 0 - $100,000. Tasks: Identify customers' needs . Oversee the preparation of reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility. Promote sales to existing clients. Recommend products or services to customers. Hire and oversee training and supervision of staff. Oversee the leasing of space in the facility and the included real estate and the development of marketing strategies. Plan, organize and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security and snow removal. Train customers' staff in the operation and maintenance of equipment. Troubleshoot problems related to equipment. Administer and deliver the negotiated collective agreement including terms and conditions of employment between union and employer. Organize and maintain inventory. Supervision: 16-20 people.
