To support our growth, Artefact is seeking talented individuals for our data division to join the engineering team. Organized in feature teams, you will work in project mode (or 'pizza team') to advise clients on AI challenges, machine learning, and Big Data. Projects range from cloud infrastructure migration (e.g., Deezer) to building predictive models (e.g., Greenpeace).

Your responsibilities include:

1. Management: Collaborate within a team emphasizing mutual aid and skill development, coach interns and juniors, stay updated with technological trends via monitoring, and participate in technical training provided by partners like Google or Azure.
2. Delivery: Take full ownership of end-to-end solutions, from design to deployment, working with engineers, consultants, data scientists, and strategic planners to understand client needs and develop innovative solutions.
3. Project: Play a key role in company success by participating in pitches and securing deals. Build strong client relationships and guide them through their data and digital transformation journey, positioning Artefact as a trusted business partner.
4. Consulting: Select and implement suitable technical stacks based on client needs, possess a critical mindset to understand and optimize organizational processes of large firms, and stay curious about the latest solutions to meet client requirements effectively.

You are involved throughout the entire value chain, including frontend, backend, big data infrastructure, and ML models. You bring an entrepreneurial spirit by proposing innovative solutions, foster a benevolent team environment through constructive feedback, and actively share knowledge via seminars, training, and certifications.

Profile:

• Master's degree in Software Engineering, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
• Fluent in French for work in the Paris office with French-speaking clients.
• Minimum of three years of experience in developing and implementing data-driven solutions within a consulting firm.
• Capable of participating in all project phases: infrastructure building, data collection, ML applications, API setup, testing, and deployment.
• Deep knowledge of Python, interest in DevOps, familiarity with Cloud platforms like GCP or Azure, and data technologies such as Spark or Beam. Experience with Docker (Kubernetes is a plus).
• Proficient in data streaming tools like Kafka or PubSub, indexing systems like Elasticsearch or Vespa, and ideally experience with LETOR.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders, work effectively within diverse teams, and anticipate and mitigate project risks through technological choices.
• Proficient in business English.
