The Power Systems Division of Schneider Electric is responsible for developing medium voltage electrical distribution offers, including electrical switchgears and transformers. The position is based in Grenoble at our Technopole 38TEC site, a modern facility with R&D teams and laboratories. Reporting to Faith, VP CS&Q for the Medium Voltage Line of Business, based in China, you will join the 'Components&Bricks' department, which comprises approximately 200 employees mainly engaged in R&D and industrialization of new and existing offers.
As League Quality Leader, you will be the functional manager for a team of around 10 quality leaders across various squads. Your role involves leveraging your passion for Customer Satisfaction & Quality to implement corrective and preventive actions to enhance offer design robustness, quality management, and activities related to robustness and reliability for new offers. You will collaborate closely with Design Engineering, Laboratories, Manufacturing, Marketing, Procurement, and Project Management teams.
Travel (approximately 25%) to China, Europe, and other locations is required. Only applications with an English resume will be considered.
Requirements include a Master’s degree in mechanical, electrical, electronics, or industrial engineering, over 10 years of quality experience in global manufacturing, and at least 4 years of management experience in an international setting. Skills in quality management tools like 8D, Root Cause Analysis, DfSR, APQP, and Design FMEA are essential. Strong managerial, coaching, communication, stakeholder management, and adaptability skills are also required. Fluency in English is mandatory; French is a plus.
