A leading energy company in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur seeks an Offshore Installation Methods Manager with at least 5 years of experience in maritime or Oil & Gas. Responsibilities include coordinating the Method Engineering team, defining installation methodologies, and ensuring budgets are met. Candidates must have knowledge of offshore procedures, advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, and a general technical understanding of marine works. English proficiency is required, and occasional travel is part of the role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a similar role, with a career in maritime or Oil & Gas.
• Experience on offshore sites and in installation and construction methods (mooring, pipeline, FPSO subsea installation).
• Occasional travel required.

Overview

Context: IT's a gas project, 100% offshore, on a team of about 25 persons, for a starting job in July.

Main responsibilities: coordination of Method Engineering team and operation team; global interface between methods and operations; define installation philosophy and operation methodologies and sequence in liaison with the Offshore Operation Manager, considering the project scope of work; define list of deliverables and the schedule of preparation / submission based on the project schedule; responsible for methodologies issuance as per deliverables and schedule; in compliance with safety requirements, management of the installation engineering team and preparation timeframes to be in line with the allocated budget; coordination with Engineering team for IA design and methods verification; coordination with procurement team for IA listing and order follow up.

We are looking for an Offshore Installation Methods Manager with at least 5 years' experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Method Engineering team and operation team.

• Define installation philosophy, operation methodologies and sequencing in liaison with the Offshore Operation Manager, considering the project scope of work.
• Define deliverables and the schedule of preparation/submission based on the project schedule.
• Issue methodologies in accordance with the deliverables and schedule, in compliance with safety requirements.
• Manage the installation engineering team and preparation timeframes within the allocated budget.
• Coordinate with the Engineering team for IA design and methods verification.
• Coordinate with Procurement for IA listing and order follow up.

Qualifications and Requirements

• General technical knowledge of offshore/marine works.

• Understanding of equipment used for offshore work.
• Knowledge of offshore work procedures and safety rules.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; MS Project; AutoCAD.
• Orcaflex use and experience with methods drilling / piling / heavy lift.
• 5+ years in a similar role, with a career in maritime or Oil & Gas.
• Experience on offshore sites and in installation and construction methods (mooring, pipeline, FPSO subsea installation).
• English required; occasional travel.
