Job Description

You join the CIB COO, and more specifically the Global Banking Operations (GBO) scope as a Leader manager dedicated to the implementation and monitoring of structured commodity financing initiated by the Global Trade business line.

You are directly attached to the Head of Agency & Working Capital, overseeing a team of 14 employees.

Your daily tasks include:

1. Supervising the functions of the agent and middle offices, including setting up new operations in coordination with origination, structuring, and legal teams; monitoring operations; managing uses, collateral, covenants, amendments; coordinating lender pools; and maintaining client relationships.
2. Monitoring risks and collateral responsibilities of Middle Officers for a dedicated client portfolio, ensuring compliance with Risk Department limits and ratios.
3. Fostering a risk-aware culture through training and awareness sessions on credit, operational, compliance sanctions, and AML risks.
4. Participating in business structuring projects such as Risk Management Programmes, automation initiatives, and operational risk reduction.
5. Driving continuous improvement by managing action plans in response to operational incidents, customer complaints, or inefficiencies.

You serve as the primary interface for the front office and other stakeholders (Trade Finance back offices, risk management, compliance, foreign platforms), communicating effectively to support financed projects and the Bank’s interests.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in managing activities within a CIB context, such as banking operations, international trade, or support functions.
• Proficiency in team management within change management environments, project management, and process optimization.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, listening abilities, and capacity to collaborate, synthesize, and communicate effectively.
• Strong organizational, reliability, and rigor skills.
• A C1 level of English proficiency.
