Magellan seeks an experienced CIO Advisory Manager to lead IT strategy and transformation programs for major accounts in France. You will guide IS transformation studies, define master plans, and oversee operating models across infrastructure, cloud, and organizational change.

You will manage senior consultants, drive AI-enabled approaches, build business cases, and ensure delivery excellence. A Bac+5 degree and 5+ years of consulting are required, with strong written and verbal communication

• At least 5 years in successful management consulting.
• Strong problem-solving and client-facing skills.
• Proven ability to structure complex IT transformation programs.

Job Description

The CIO Advisory Practice, boosted by Generative AI, supports CIOs in defining their digital transformation plans covering infrastructure, digital transformations, and organisational adaptation. This role is aimed at an experienced CIO Advisory Manager, capable of working across all CIO transformation workstreams.

YOUR MISSIONS

As a CIO Advisory Manager (M/F), you participate in:

• Conducting IS transformation studies for primarily major account clients
• Defining IS operations management strategies
• Defining and implementing the strategic plan (IT master plan, long- and medium-term plan, strategic scoping note)
• Defining the sourcing strategy
• Auditing processes, operations organisations, and existing IS infrastructures and assessing their maturity
• Building business cases
• Improving the operational efficiency of the CIO organisation
• Optimising CIO costs
• Engaging our clients in reducing their energy footprint
• Defining and implementing the Target Operating Model
• Defining recommendations and overseeing their implementation
• Developing client processes, procedures, and reporting
• Presenting to leadership teams
• Contributing to M&A operations
• Driving change management inherent to technology transformations (Network, Cloud, Workplace)
• Managing consultants on engagements and internal commitment workstreams
• Working with partners and offering leads to develop the practice's offerings

Qualifications

With a Master\'s degree (Bac+5) from an engineering school, business school, or a specialized university Master\'s program, you have at least 5 years of successful consulting experience in management. You have developed business skills through organizational consulting assignments.

You are able to analyze problems and provide relevant solutions related to our clients' challenges.

A technology enthusiast at heart, with excellent interpersonal skills, very good writing abilities, and strong synthesis skills.

You currently master the Consultant fundamentals: interviews, meeting facilitation, project management, analysis, business cases, producing high-value deliverables, and demonstrating creativity.

You strongly seek autonomy and responsibility.
