As an integral member of the Accounting team you will play a key role in supporting the accounting and reporting for our international entities particularly our licensed entity in France. Your responsibilities will span a wide range of financial and accounting functions including managing the secondary ledger for the Group’s international entities, overseeing accounting matters related to the incorporation and licensing of new entities and coordinating local statutory audits. You will also support the regulatory reporting of the Group’s regulated entities ensuring compliance with jurisdiction‑specific requirements. The role will involve preparing key reports and management information while working collaboratively with a variety of cross‑functional teams across the business.
7 years of relevant accounting experience ideally gained at a top‑tier professional services firm within their Digital Assets, Banking and Capital Markets, Treasury or FinTech teams and / or within high‑growth FinTech companies banking or the payments sector.
Deep understanding of French GAAP and IFRS with proven experience preparing financial statements in line with French GAAP and IFRS standards (essential). Exposure to US GAAP is also beneficial.
Strong background in independently managing multiple international audits serving as the primary point of contact for external auditors and consultants. Demonstrated ability to lead the full audit cycle from planning through to final reporting and sign‑off.
Hands‑on experience in regulatory reporting including RUBA reporting, COREP, FINREP, capital adequacy and other regulatory returns is highly desirable especially within financial services or a regulated environment.
Excellent time management, prioritisation and organisational skills with the ability to handle complex accounting workflows and deliver cross‑functional projects under tight timelines.
Solid experience working in multinational environments including multi‑currency operations, acquisition accounting and group‑level consolidation accounting.
Hands‑on and strategic approach capable of diving into detailed technical work when needed while also effectively managing broader accounting workstreams and priorities.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities with a proactive solutions‑oriented mindset and the confidence to challenge and improve existing processes.
Fluent in English with strong business writing and verbal communication skills.
