We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable General Maintenance Technician to join our team. The General Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Salary Range: $25 to $30 per hour

Qualifications:

- Prior petroleum / gas station experience helpful, but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a General Maintenance Technician or similar role.
- Solid knowledge of general maintenance techniques and repair procedures.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as repairing windows, doors, electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Repair or replace faulty equipment and parts.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment for events and meetings.
- Ensure the completion of maintenance activities within designated time frames.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
- Follow company safety guidelines and protocols.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure optimal maintenance and repair outcomes.
- Recommend improvements and upgrades to enhance facility functionality.
