Skiworld Ltd is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure chalets and resort properties are in top condition throughout the ski season in France. The role includes daily repairs, proactive and reactive maintenance, and assisting with snow clearing and transfers. Candidates must have prior experience in a trades or maintenance role, a clean driving license for at least three years, and possess skills in problem-solving, attention to detail, and adaptability. Seasonnaire employment is from mid-November to end of April with a competitive employment package.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a trade or building maintenance role.
• Clean driving license for 3 full years or more.
• Attention to detail, and a high standard of finishing work.
• Able to work on own initiative and solve problems.
• Adaptability and resilience under pressure.

Position Overview

All the drills and all the skills… Our maintenance team are the mortar that keeps our chalet service strong and our resort teams stable.

Responsibilities

You’ll be responsible for keeping all chalets and resort properties in top condition throughout the ski season, handling both proactive and reactive maintenance to ensure everything is ready for arriving guests. This includes daily repairs, sourcing materials locally, coordinating with managers and contractors, and carrying out detailed chalet checks. You’ll also help with snow clearing, guest transfer days, chalet supply runs, and resort vehicle upkeep, while supporting end-of-season closedown and jumping in across resorts as needed—all to keep our ski operations running smoothly from first lift to final après.

Ski season employment is from mid-November up until end of April so you should be available to work throughout this period.
