Ski Famille Ltd is looking for a property maintenance technician in Bazicourt, Hauts-de-France. You'll maintain the hotel's systems and ensure safety and efficiency in operations.

The ideal candidate should have maintenance experience, be self-motivated, and possess at least one skill in carpentry, electrical work, or plumbing. A clean driving license is essential. A flexible approach to tasks is required, including maintenance of chalets.

Contract is fixed term with 35 working hours per week.

Qualifications

• Age 21 or over with a full clean driving licence.
• Keen DIY’er or tradesperson with maintenance skills.
• Experience with hot tubs and saunas is a plus.

Our property maintenance technician maintains our hotel, located in Les Bruyères, 3 Vallées, to the highest possible standard. He / she ensures that any issues that have been reported by other staff and directly from guests are sorted quickly and efficiently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

• At the beginning of the season, learn the technical operating system within the hotel. Ensure that all appliances are in good working order, that they are maintained and are in a good state of repair
• Ensure that Hotel Managers are familiar with the electrical/ gas/heating systems and other appliances within the hotel and that they are able to use them in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
• Ensure that the hotel is a safe place to work / stay for all staff members / guests by helping to implement all company health and safety procedures.
• Liaise with the hotel managers on the progress of work being undertaken
• Purchase of equipment as needed with full accountability of all company expenditure whilst carrying out all repairs and / or maintenance within agreed budgets.
• Maintain and drive a vehicle
• You are under the responsibility of the Hotel Managers as well as the Resort Maintenance Lead

REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE

• Age 21 or over (age restrictions apply due to the insurance on vehicles) : Full clean driving licence.
• A keen DIY’er or ideally a tradesperson looking for a change of environment with skills in general maintenance plus at least one skill in either carpentry, electrical work and/or basic plumbing
• Understanding of how hot tubs and saunas work with relevant experience.
• Basic IT skills/Internet systems and wifi (Desirable)
• French language skills (Desirable but not essential)
• Driving experience, ideally of vehicles bigger than cars and on the right side of the road
• Great self-motivation and organisational skills
• Friendly & enthusiastic. A flexible attitude with a view to also needing to help with maintenance / repair of our chalets as well.
• Current Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate or equivalent
