Melium Consulting is seeking a Maintenance & Reliability Manager for a flagship site in the South of France. You will lead the maintenance reliability organisation, shape and execute the site’s maintenance and reliability strategy, and drive performance through TPM practices and KPI-led management.

We are looking for a senior professional with 5–7+ years in a similar role, a technical Master’s degree, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of experience leading teams and contractors in a sophisticated industrial environment.
• Strong expertise in Lean/TPM and Planned Maintenance.
• Engineering or relevant technical Master’s degree and professional fluency in English.

Melium Consulting is partnering with one of the world’s leading food manufacturers to appoint a Maintenance & Reliability Manager for its flagship manufacturing site in the South of France.

This is a strategic leadership role within a highly complex manufacturing environment with responsibility for shaping and executing the site’s maintenance and reliability strategy.

The mandate:

• Lead the maintenance reliability organisation, building technical capability across the site
• Define and deploy the maintenance strategy across TPM methodologies
• Improve equipment reliability and plant availability through preventive action
• Drive digitalisation through CMMS optimisation and KPI-led performance management
• Lead maintenance plans, shutdown programmes, and reliability improvement projects
• Partner closely with Operations to embed Autonomous & Preventative Maintenance
• Optimise maintenance costs, spare-parts management and overall asset performance

The profile:

• We are looking for an experienced maintenance and reliability leader with 5–7+ years’ experience leading teams and contractors within a sophisticated industrial environment.
• You will bring strong expertise in Lean/TPM and Planned Maintenance, alongside the ability to design and deploy a structured reliability strategy. An Engineering or relevant technical Master’s degree and professional fluency in English are required.
• Beyond the immediate mandate, this position forms part of an active succession plan, creating a genuine pathway towards broader leadership responsibility.
