A maintenance service provider in Dunkerque is seeking dedicated personnel to maintain premises in clean and orderly condition. Responsibilities include grounds maintenance, deliveries, and adhering to policies. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and basic maintenance skills. This temporary position pays $16.00 per hour for up to 27.5 hours weekly. Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and an ability to provide excellent customer service.

Basic Function or Position Summary

Keeps premises of office building, apartment house, or other commercial or institutional building in clean and orderly condition. Pay Rate is $16.00/ hour

up to 27.5 hours/weekly

Requirements

Position Responsibilities and Specific Duties

• Performs pick-up and deliveries as required by Maintenance Manager
• Performs ground maintenance tasks as assigned
• Performs general grounds keeping and landscaping
• Has some basic ability to trouble shoot while on the jobsite and notifies Maintenance Manager of job requirements
• Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
• Cuts and trims grass, and shovels snow.
• Completes B&G work orders as assigned
• Transports small equipment or tools between departments.
• Sets up tables and chairs in auditorium or hall.
• Promotes agency mission
• Maintains confidentiality and complies with the code of ethics.
• Maintains consistent professional customer service.
• Job performance incorporates integrated service delivery model while promoting self sufficiency.
• Other duties as designated by supervisor.

Special Requirements

• Must be able to provide consistent even tempered customer service at all times
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation
• Authorized driver of a COI vehicle.
• Ability to travel throughout the county
• Pre employment drug and alcohol testing required, subject to random drug and alcohol testing for cause.
• Required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb, balance, bend and kneel
