Carrier Global Corporation is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator for its MidAtlantic/Charlotte operations. The role involves coordinating project activities, tracking progress, managing documents, and facilitating communication across cross-functional teams to ensure successful outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, 2+ years in project coordination, and proficiency with MS Office; MS Project or a similar PM tool is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate project milestones with PMs.
• Monitor timelines and costs with project managers and engineering teams.
• Maintain and organize project documents including invoicing, notes, and change orders.
• Generate weekly/monthly status reports for PM leadership and stakeholders.
• Act as liaison between Projects, Sales, and Service teams.
• Assist in project turnover meetings and handoffs.

About this role

Carrier Commercial Service has an opening for an experienced Project Coordinator for our MidAtlantic region. The Project Coordinator is a key contributor to supporting project execution and driving operational excellence across cross‑functional teams. This role coordinates project activities, tracks progress, manages documentation, and facilitates communication among stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Work location is at our Charlotte NC office.
• Support planning, scheduling, and coordination of project milestones alongside PM’s
• Work closely with project managers, engineering teams, and external partners to monitor project timelines and costs
• Track deliverables and ensure timely follow‑up on action items
• Maintain and organize key project documents including invoicing, meeting notes, subcontractor/vendor invoices, and change order logs
• Generate weekly/monthly project status reports for Project Management Leadership and stakeholders
• Assist and support project invoicing at the direction of the Project Managers
• Serve as a projects liaison between internal departments (Projects, Sales, Service)
• Schedule and facilitate project turnover meetings for new projects
• Ensure alignment across teams by managing updates and feedback loops
• Complete new vendors and subcontractors account creation in our PO system
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of project management processes and tools
• Support risk assessment, mitigation strategies, and issue resolution
• Support cost tracking and budget monitoring activities with Project Managers and Project Engineers
• Participate in team planning sessions and knowledge‑sharing initiatives

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in project coordination
• 1+ years of experience in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with MS Project or another project management tool

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
• Experience in the HVAC or manufacturing industry
• Experience with MS Project a plus
• Familiarity with Agile or Stage‑Gate project management methodologies
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy

Pay Range

The annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 - $158,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.

Other Compensation

This position may be entitled to short‑term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
