Maintenance Engineer

Based out of our Bray office, you will be required to travel throughout Ireland and occasionally the UK/Europe and carry out scheduled maintenance calls along with the occasional emergency call out. Servicing and maintaining electro-mechanical and embedded computer-based control systems requires a technical and analytical mindset.

Self-motivated and customer-focused, you will be required to work on your own initiative to solve on-site problems.

PC literate and MS Office proficient to log and report site visits along with a full clean driving license is required.

Duties:

1. Carry out planned maintenance visits & reactive service visits across sites in Ireland and occasionally UK/Europe.
2. Site survey & resource forecasting of Planned Preventative Maintenance contracts.
3. Logging and reporting of all site activities.

Requirements:

1. Experience of site work / reactive & preventative maintenance.
2. Excellent telephone manner.
3. Comfortable in a customer-facing, site meeting environment.
4. Willing to travel Ireland + UK/Europe.
5. Regular overnight stays whilst working on site.
6. Occasional out of hours work.
7. Self-motivated.
8. General computer & Windows knowledge, qualification/knowledge.
9. General PC skills - Microsoft Word, Access, Excel.
10. General BAS/BMS/Fire Alarm knowledge.
11. Full clean driving licence.
12. Safe pass holder an advantage.
