Job Description: Storekeeper

The storekeeper is responsible for receiving, storing, tracking merchandise, and providing products for culinary production.

Responsibilities:

1. Receiving goods: quality control, quantity check, compliance, and cold chain adherence.
2. Verify delivery compliance (quantity, quality, deadlines).
3. Store products according to hygiene and food safety standards (dry storage, positive and negative cold storage).
4. Ensure proper stock rotation.
5. Prepare and distribute internal orders (kitchen, pastry, etc.).
6. Alert on stock shortages, overstock, or near-expiry products.
7. Ensure hygiene and safety standards are maintained during storage.
8. Contribute to continuous improvement procedures in stock and procurement management.

Qualifications:

• Experience in catering or logistics is appreciated.
• Knowledge of food products.
• Basic understanding of stock management and logistics.
• Knowledge of hygiene and food safety rules (HACCP).
• Ability to efficiently receive, store, and distribute products.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Autonomy, responsiveness.
• Organizational skills.
• Good team communication skills.

This is a seasonal fixed-term contract starting June 1st, in the context of the Nice city season.
