CIMMYT is seeking a professional with communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills for the position of ERP Security Specialist to work on the Operations Chapter/ Knowledge Management and Information Technology department of CIMMYT.
The position will be based at CIMMYT headquarters in Texcoco, near Mexico City (45 minutes from Mexico City).
Dynamics 365 Administration & Customization:
- Administer and configure Dynamics 365 ERP and CRM modules and all systems related to the ERP in supporting business operations.
- Customize and optimize Dynamics 365 solutions to align with organizational needs.
- Create and maintain custom privileges (both form and field level), roles and assign to user.
- Generate Monthly User-Role allocation reports for management audit.
- Setup and Maintain DEV/Build/Sandbox/Pre-Prod and Production Environments.
- Setup and Maintain the Unified Development Experience environments for DEV Team.
- Manage and monitor Batch Jobs for efficient Production System performance.
- Manage and Monitor the Database and Dataverse space allocations and provide monthly reports to the management.
- Manage system updates, patches, DevOps Pipelines and regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform the code merge, code packing and code deployments onto environment as requested by PMO.
- Oversee the integration of Dynamics 365 with other enterprise applications and platforms.
- Ensure system security, data integrity, and compliance with organizational policies.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Dynamics 365 users.
- Collaborate with KMIT teams and stakeholders to enhance system functionality and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, configurations, and best practices.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements or optimizations.
- Train end-users and provide guidance on system capabilities and best practices.
Identity & Security Administration:
- Manage identities and access rights within Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory (Azure AD).
- Implement and enforce security policies for user access to applications and resources.
- Configure and monitor Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and conditional access policies.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and safeguard organizational identity data.
- Oversee and manage the security of Microsoft infrastructure and applications.
- Implement security policies and best practices for threat detection and risk mitigation.
- Coordinate security patch deployment and vulnerability management.
- Conduct security audits, incident response, and forensic analysis to ensure compliance.
- Support cybersecurity initiatives and adherence to frameworks such as Zero Trust, NIST, or ISO 27001.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of practical and progressive experience in Digital Infrastructure-related positions.
- Extensive experience in administering and customizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP and CRM.
- Strong knowledge of CRM and ERP integrations with other business applications.
- Microsoft certifications related to Dynamics 365 and security (e.g., MS-900, MB-910, PL-200, MB-300, SC-300, SC-200) are highly desirable.
- Strong documentation and process improvement skills.
- Experience working in an international organization or enterprise environment.
- Advanced level in English language (written and conversational). English will be evaluated, and the candidate should score a minimum of C1 on the CEFR scale.
