Brightsmith are currently looking for an experienced LV Authorised Person (LV AP) to join a major data centre project in Europe. You will be responsible for supporting the safe operation, isolation, energisation and commissioning of LV electrical systems, working closely with the wider commissioning and construction teams to ensure all works are completed safely and in accordance with project procedures.

Key responsibilities include acting as LV AP for electrical systems, preparing switching

Qualifications

• Previous experience as LV AP on large-scale electrical or data centre projects.
• Strong understanding of LV electrical distribution and safe systems of work.
• Experience with electrical switching, isolation, energisation and commissioning.

Responsabilités

• Act as the LV Authorised Person for electrical systems and support safe energisation and isolation activities.
• Prepare, review and implement switching schedules, permits and electrical safety documentation.
• Carry out LV switching, isolation, testing and verification activities.
• Ensure electrical works are completed in line with project procedures, safety standards and relevant regulations.
• Review RAMS, method statements and commissioning documentation where required.
• Maintain a strong focus on electrical safety and ensure appropriate control measures are in place before work proceeds.

You will be responsible for supporting the safe operation, isolation, energisation and commissioning of LV electrical systems, working closely with the wider commissioning and construction teams to ensure all works are completed safely and in accordance with project procedures.

• Data centre experience is highly desirable.
