BDP International in Lyon seeks an enthusiastic undergraduate student to support the coordination and execution of customer orders in line with PSA BDP Ethics. You will liaise with customers, agents, and warehouses to ensure smooth processing and timely information flow.

The role requires good English communication, proficiency in MS Office, and a willingness to learn logistics practices across international movement of goods.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student currently studying Logistics, International Trade, Freight Forwarding, or a similar subject.
• Strong written and spoken English (minimum B2).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and execute customer orders per PSA BDP Ethics and procedures.
• Contact dedicated customers for instructions and reminders.
• Process agent and early warning messages with network contacts.
• Communicate information to customers and partners in parallel.
• Handle anomalies and disputes; propose corrective and preventive measures.
• Maintain contact with warehouse and subcontractors; inform customers of international movement formalities.
• Report file status to hierarchical manager; monitor service quality.
• Create SOPs to support offshoring processes.
• Troubleshoot to find timely solutions for customers.

Job Description

This role will support the c oordination and execution of customer orders in accordance with their requirements and/or procedures based on PSA BDP Ethics.

Main responsibilities:

• Contact with the dedicated customer for instructions / reminder
• Processing of agent and early warning messages(network contact)
• Communicate information to customers and partners in parallel
• Handling of anomalies / disputes
• Proposal for corrective and preventive measures
• Contact with the warehouse and other subcontractors
• Duty to inform and advise the customer on the formalities of international movement of goods
• Duty to communicate the information of the files in charge to his hierarchical manager
• Monitoring the quality of service center services.
• Create SOP’s when require to support the offshoring process.
• Trouble shooting to proactively find suitable solutions in time and manner to the customer.

Job Requirements

• an undergraduate student studying Logistics, International Trade, Freight Forwarding or a similar subject
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Software applications
• Good communication skills in English ( oral and written ). Minimum B2 level
