We are looking for a Logistics Site Operations Manager to strengthen our team in France (Agen). Within the framework of the policy defined by the company, you will be responsible for the operational management.
You will report to the VP Operations EMEA in Belgium and be part of the EMEA Operations Management Team. You will manage a team of 80 people operating on our site daily.
Your role and responsibilities
- Coordinate and organize stocking activities to meet organizational priorities and quality standards.
- Coach and develop team leaders to utilize their skills effectively.
- Implement personnel-related policies within the Warehouse department to support HR objectives.
- Identify and implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency and internal processes.
- Maintain communication with internal stakeholders to optimize collaboration and efficiency.
- Document and structure procedures to ensure clarity and consistency in tasks.
- Implement safety policies and promote a safety-conscious culture aligned with TVH Group's vision.
- Stay updated on operations management trends and develop leadership skills.
In coordination with the General Manager, the Logistics Site Operations Manager will also:
- Translate company objectives into actionable plans for all departments.
- Coordinate departmental activities to ensure synergy and smooth operations.
- Ensure overall site performance.
- Manage and develop leadership teams, supporting their professional growth and fostering team cohesion.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders including management, clients, suppliers, and authorities.
Your profile
- A Master’s degree in business economics or equivalent experience.
- 10-15 years of relevant logistics experience, including at least 5 years in a senior/leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse systems and procedures.
- Experience in warehousing and logistics processes.
- Fluent in English.
- Result-oriented and people-oriented personality.
- Experience working with unions.
