About the Client

The client is a reputable organization in the yachting industry, based in the Cannes area.

The Project

We are seeking a Mediterranean Logistics Port Operator for a project based in Cannes, available to start as soon as possible, with a latest start date by March 2025.

Requirements

• Bilingual in French and English; proficiency in Italian is a significant plus. Additional languages are appreciated.
• Excellent communication and diplomacy skills, comfortable making connections and navigating tasks.
• Previous experience in the yachting or maritime industry is not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Manage logistics for yachts managed by the organization.
• Secure berths on short notice and coordinate docking needs in advance.
• Collaborate with port authorities and local service providers.
• Anticipate client needs and provide quick solutions.
• Ensure seamless port entry and exit for clients, managing formalities onshore.
• Use internal software to handle quotes, invoices, and deposits.

Candidate Profile

• Experience using English, French, and Italian; strong organizational and memory skills.
• Logical thinker, adaptable, and quick learner.
• Available during the busy Mediterranean summer season, including weekends if necessary.
• Comfortable with numbers, basic accounting, MS Office, especially Excel.
• Reactive, multitasking, proactive in anticipating needs.
• Proficient with technology and software.
• Excellent communicator and negotiator.
• EU/Schengen nationality and/or visa, valid EU driver's license, no criminal record.

Package

Net monthly salary based on profile and experience. Company mobile phone, computer, and a company car for occasional travel are provided.
