Job Description

Join us as a Logistics Officer (Flight Management) in Lagos, responsible for ensuring the professional, complete, and timely handling of all food catering items and services for international flights. Your duties will include filling carts with appropriate food items, assisting in loading carts onto trucks and planes, and providing exceptional customer service to flight crews and attendants.

• Supervise and check all food production requirements for international flights.
• Meet with cabin crew on the runway to review delivered merchandise for each flight.
• Check aircraft trolleys and meals to ensure adherence to Newrest quality standards.
• Inspect, label, close, and seal trolleys according to airport safety requirements.
• Ensure correct number of meals are prepared, packed, and correctly assigned per customer and client specifications.
• Coordinate with dispatchers and make last-minute arrangements to resolve issues.
• Assist in assembly line tasks to ensure timely flight completion, such as setting up trays and packaging food.
• Communicate malfunctions or difficulties to management and relevant teams.
• Complete security documentation and label all items appropriately.
• Follow safety rules and company standards diligently.
• Wear uniforms, safety shoes, and appropriate attire during duty hours.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Candidate Profile

• High School Diploma required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Previous manufacturing or airport experience preferred.
• Experience in customer service strongly preferred.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate changing requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
