Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Shipyard Logistics Manager to oversee all aspects of logistics operations in a busy refit shipyard in Marseille. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the transportation and delivery of high-value items for international shipping, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across a site that at times can be working across up to 15 large scale luxury vessels.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing logistics strategies to optimize operations and enhance efficiency
• Monitoring and analyzing logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implementing solutions
• Leading a team in stores and logistics, providing guidance and support in daily operations
• Collaborating with internal teams to plan and execute logistics operations
• Analyzing logistics data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
• Supervising and providing guidance to logistics team members
• Ensuring compliance with shipping regulations and international trade requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
• Proven experience in logistics management, particularly in the international shipping of high-value items
• Strong knowledge of shipping regulations, customs clearance processes, and international trade compliance
• Proficiency in logistics software and tools for tracking and monitoring shipments
