Qualifications

• 4+ years in logistics/supply chain management, preferably in pharma/healthcare/FMCG.
• Expertise in SAP LE, MM, WM, or IBP (must be a power user, not an IT developer).
• Experience in logistics optimization, cost control, and KPIs.
• Leadership experience managing teams or cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage, picking, and distribution.
• Optimize inventory levels using SAP MM to minimize stock outs and excess inventory.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare industry regulations (GDP, GMP, etc.).
• Manage inbound/outbound logistics, carrier relationships, and freight costs optimization.
• Resolve logistics bottlenecks and improve last-mile delivery performance.

Our client, a global healthcare company, is seeking a Local Logistics Manager to oversee end-to-end logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and demand planning. The ideal candidate will have strong logistics expertise, hands-on experience with SAP LE, MM, or IBP, and the ability to optimize supply chain processes in a fast-paced environment. This is a business operations role, requiring a strategic thinker who can leverage SAP systems to improve efficiency, compliance, and cost-effectiveness across the logistics network.

This is a contractual position, through the end of 2025, with a high likelihood of extending well into 2026. There will be occasional travel to the client's warehouse location(s) (domestic).

Job Requirements :

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage, picking, and distribution
• Optimize inventory levels using SAP MM to minimize stock outs and excess inventory
• Ensure compliance with healthcare industry regulations (GDP, GMP, etc.)
• Manage inbound / outbound logistics, carrier relationships, and freight costs optimization
• Resolve logistics bottlenecks and improve last-mile delivery performance
• Collaborate with regional teams to align demand forecasts with supply chain execution
• Utilize SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning) or SAP LE for accurate demand planning
• Analyse trends and adjust procurement / logistics strategies accordingly
• Act as the local SAP power user for Logistics Execution (LE), Materials Management (MM)
• Identify system enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and train teams on best practices
• Drive continuous improvement in logistics processes through data-driven decisions
