Created in 1963 and based in L'Aigle, France, IMV Technologies is the World Leader in animal reproductive biotechnologies. The Group has a dominant position in both the bovine and swine segments from gametes harvesting, analysis, packaging, freezing to insemination. The IMV group also has a strong presence in aquaculture, equine and other markets. The Group is committed to contribute to the preservation of the genetics of endangered species like the Great Panda in China.
Through its subsidiary Cryo Biosystems, IMV Technologies is also present since 1987 in the human reproduction and biobanking sector, applying its expertise in embryo vitrification and sperm freezing for medically assisted procreation procedures or cryo-preservation solutions for the biobanking of biological samples.
In 2021, the Group achieved a turnover of €135M and double-digit EBITDA ratio with a strong resilience in the COVID19 crisis environment. Since its creation the Group has always experienced sustained growth and a high level of profitability. Based in France, with subsidiaries in 9 countries (Brazil, China, India, Ireland, Netherlands, UK, United States, Spain, South Africa), and 3 representation offices (Germany, Italy, Russia) and an extensive network of distributors in more than 120 countries, IMV Technologies generates 88% of its turnover outside France. Local Field Application Specialist (India)
IMV Technologies is looking for a Local Field Application Scientist in India, motivated by being the biological technical support in reproduction biotechnologies for India area. The goal is to support both Marketing, Sales and R&D for demonstrating our products value and biological impact in bovine species and at a less extent poultry.
Within the Field Application team, the Local Field Application Specialist is responsible for India area:
- For delivering pre- and post-sales support by providing biological support and innovative training in Reproductive biotechnologies, all of this to help customers to work efficiently with our products.
- For assisting in business field trials in order to convince customers to switch to our products or to create data to support our marketing and sales teams.
- For continuous support for Sales, R&D and marketing teams and in occasionally, Customer Care, Quality and Technical Service.
- For assisting trials in the laboratory, or in broodstock farms for R&D field trials and product validation. It also includes technical vulgarized reports, and participating in decisions about the continuation of projects. The position works closely with R&D and Marketing project Managers to validate product launches and during the different phases of a project.
- Provide relevant improvements or new products to Marketing and R&D.
- Provide accurate information and resolving customer issues promptly.
- Deliver trainings to customers and to collaborators.
- Stay informed about the market, new products and customers inquiries.
- Assist, conduct and/or supervise field trials in India.
- Work and prioritize requests autonomously to meet annual objectives and deadlines.
- Ensure an excellent company’s brand image and personal safety.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of field application processes.
- Nationality: Open.
- With a Vet, Engineer or Biomedical Master’s degree, you have at least a first successful experience in the field of bovine industry or more generally in reproductive biotechnologies.
- Experience in troubleshooting and demonstration or equipment installation.
- In-depth knowledge of bovine reproduction and breeding.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in R&D positions.
- A collaborative individual with demonstrated experience collaborating across team and with other departments.
