L'olivier Assurance is seeking a Data Protection & Privacy Compliance Lead to operate the local data protection framework, advise the business, and support the EU DPO. You will manage governance, risk assessments, and engagement with authorities and data subjects.

The role requires strong expertise in EU data protection laws, a Law degree with a Master in related fields, and fluency in French and English. Travel may be required occasionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law and Master’s in Data Protection, IT Law, or Digital Law.
• CIPP/E, CIPM, or local equivalents certifications are a plus.
• 5-7+ years of hands-on data protection experience in a regulated industry or consultancy.
• High-level proficiency in French and European data protection laws; English fluency is essential.
• Knowledge of insurance law is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Support local data protection governance and update policies and procedures.
• Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments for new products and services.
• Provide data protection advisory and ensure documentation is up to date.
• Assist in incident and breach management and notification procedures.
• Coordinate with Data Protection Authorities and engage with data subjects as needed.
• Report data protection KPIs to EU DPO and local governance bodies.
• Lead local training and privacy awareness programs.
• Implement data protection assurance program and controls.
