Airswift is recruiting an experienced Start-Up Manager to support a major LNG development project. The role will oversee prep, planning and execution of start-up and operational readiness, ensuring a safe transition from commissioning to operations.

Initially based in Paris for project prep, then on-site in Ruwais, UAE, with fluent English and strong leadership throughout. The successful candidate has 10+ years in LNG operations and start-up, proven leadership, and the ability to coordinate

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of LNG operations and start-up experience.
• Strong knowledge of LNG processes and start-up activities.
• Experience in Start-Up Manager or commissioning leadership within LNG projects.
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
• Experience in EPC project environments and large-scale facilities.
• Experience on-site during commissioning and start-up phases.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English.

Responsabilités

• Lead the preparation, planning and execution of start-up and operational readiness activities.
• Define start-up philosophies, sequences, procedures and schedules with project planning teams.
• Support development and review of operating manuals, start-up procedures and docs.
• Coordinate with commissioning, engineering, operations, vendors and licensors for successful plant start-up.
• Identify risks, operational challenges and site constraints; implement mitigations.
• Review design to ensure operability and start-up requirements are incorporated.
• Participate in workshops, technical reviews and supplier clarifications.
• Support operator training programs and operational readiness initiatives.
• Develop performance test procedures and oversee start-up demonstrations.
• Ensure start-up activities align with HSE, quality standards and project objectives.
• Act as primary focal point for operational matters with client and stakeholders.
• Prepare progress and final start-up reports with lessons learned.
