A prestigious restaurant in Paris is seeking a skilled Chef de Cuisine or Dim Sum Chef to oversee kitchen operations. The successful candidate will lead the Dim Sum station, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety compliance, and team training, contributing creatively to menu development. This exciting role requires at least 2 years of experience in a reputable Chinese restaurant, and HACCP certification is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years as Chef de Cuisine or Dim Sum Chef.
  • HACCP certification preferred.
  • Good command of English; knowledge of Mandarin is a plus.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Lead and managed the Dim Sum station, overseeing the production and preparation
  • Maintain consistency in food quality, portion sizes, and presentation
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen station
  • Collaborate closely with the Head Chef and other team members to ensure smooth coordination and timely execution of dishes
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, inspiring excellence and fostering a positive work environment
  • Contribute creative ideas and recommendations for menu development and improvement

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of solid experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Dim Sum Chef in a reputable Chinese restaurant with a good reputation and most talked-about
  • Excellent understanding of food safety and sanitation standards, with HACCP certification preferred
  • Good communication skills in English. Knowledge of Mandarin or other Chinese dialects is a plus
  • Diploma degree in Culinary or certified equivalent professional training in a related major. Bachelor’s Degree is desirable
