Deezer in Paris is seeking a QA Analyst Intern to join the Listeners team, a cross-functional group of developers, product managers, engineering managers, and QA analysts, working to ensure a smooth, high-quality listening experience.

You will support QA process improvement, help define quality standards, and expand test coverage by maintaining our test cases. You’ll interact with several teams to reproduce bugs and write clear reports for triage.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to the QA process project by documenting, validating, and improving workflows; identify automation opportunities.
• Review and refine product specifications, user stories, and QA briefs for different Listener streams and experiences.
• Execute and maintain accurate manual tests across mobile, web, and backend platforms; review test book and create test cases.
• Collaborate with developers, Product Managers, and QA to analyze issues, reproduce and document bugs, and write clear reports.
• Participate in team meetings and cross-functional discussions focused on quality and QA practices.

Job Description

We are looking for a QA Analyst Intern to join our Listeners team, a cross-functional team of developers, product managers, engineering managers, and QA analysts, experts and engineers working on one of the most dynamic areas of the product - ensuring a smooth, high-quality experience for music listeners. The team focuses on continuous improvement of the listening experience, customization, and reliability of streaming flows.

As an intern, you’ll work closely with our QA experts to support the improvement of QA processes, help define and document quality standards, and contribute to improving the overall efficiency of QA workflows. You’ll also interact with multiple teams to analyze issues, write bug reports, and enrich our test coverage by expanding and maintaining our test book of test cases (TC).

Main Missions

• Contribute to the QA process project by helping document, validate, and improve workflows, as well as identifying automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and collaboration.

• Review and refine product specifications, user stories, and QA briefs for different Listener streams and experiences, ensuring clarity, testability, and alignment with QA standards.

• Execute and maintain accurate manual tests across mobile, web, and backend platforms, while reviewing the existing test book, identifying coverage gaps, and creating well-structured test cases.

• Collaborate with developers, Product Managers, and QA team members to analyze issues, reproduce and document bugs, and write clear, structured reports to support efficient triage and follow-up.

• Participate in team meetings and cross-functional discussions focused on quality, and contribute ideas to continuously improve QA practices and upcoming developments.

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

• Basic knowledge of software testing methodologies and principles.

• Understanding of mobile, web, and backend testing workflows.

• Strong communication skills in English and French.

• Attention to detail, curiosity, and a problem-solving mindset.

• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with different teams.

• Motivation to learn and contribute to improving QA processes.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and teamwork.

• Interest in AI tools in testing.

• Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira and version control tools like GitHub.
