6WIND is recruiting top-notch Linux Software Developers to join the company’s Roadmap Acceleration software teams in France. The team is responsible for developing new customized features and services according to key customers' needs.
As a Linux Software Engineer, you will work with the fastest packet processing solutions deployed in the evolving areas of SDN (Software Defined Networking) and NFV (Network Functions Virtualization).
You will be involved in several challenging projects to develop new features for key customers, adhering to deadlines. Your responsibilities include developing, implementing, and delivering new features on Linux platforms (Ubuntu, Redhat, Buildroot, Rocky Linux, etc.), covering low-level system development to application layers.
This versatile role involves working on various aspects of the Networking Stack, including Control plane, Data plane, and Management Plane. Examples of projects include implementing new networking protocols, hardware/CPU architecture integration, QoS features, IPSec stack optimization, protocol implementations like DHCP and PPPoE, firewall development, etc.
Possibility of remote work for experienced candidates; candidates must be located in France and be open to frequent travel to our HQ in the Paris region.
